An exciting opportunity for Borealis as our CEO, Alison Thompson was #OnTheRoadWithSohi, the Minister of Natural Resources, discussing how Borealis GeoPower is the First Albertan company to sign on to Natural Resources Canada's #Equalby30 campaign!!!
Borealis takes pride in being a clean energy leader with our efforts in bringing geothermal online in Canada. Teaming up with villagers of Valemount, we have launched a "Citizen Scientist" initiative where we encourage the community of Valemount to assist in our geothermal research endeavours in the area. For the everyday science enthusiast, the concept is simple yet impactful in our field of work. We are excited to have the Rocky Mountain Goat publish our Citizen Scientist initiative in their latest issue. Keep an eye out for its release next week. https://www.therockymountaingoat.com/   We are excited to announce that Borealis GeoPower has been accepted as a signatory of the Equal by 30 initiative, a joint effort taken on by Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) and International Energy Agency (IEA) to close the gender gap and advance the participation of woman in the clean energy transition. Currently, the Borealis team is predominately female. We pledge to continue working towards being a gender-balanced corporation.
