BGP's paper accepted into the 41st New Zealand Geothermal Workshop

BGP is pleased to announce that our paper has been accepted for inclusion on this year's programme at the New Zealand Geothermal Workshop. Dr. Megan Eyre will be presenting the paper at the Workshop. 

BGP is continuously transferring technology to the geothermal space from other industries.  This paper speaks to the effectiveness of using drone technology to perform geothermal geophysical surveys, as a component of our Optimized Geothermal and Element (OGE) exploration technology.

BGP is proud to have delivered a technical presentation on drone-based geothermal exploration at the Geothermal Resources Council Annual Meeting and Expo.

Dr. Megan Eyre, thank you for being a great representative of BGP!

The data provided by drone surveying allowed us to test a conceptual model we use in our Optimized Geothermal and Element (OGE) exploration technology.

BGP joins Foresight CAC's Launch Program and welcomes Mark Grist as Executive in Residence

BGP is excited to announce that we have been chosen to join the Launch Program at Foresight Cleantech Accelerator Centre (CAC)!

Foresight CAC accelerates Canadian transformative clean technology startups from launch to scale. Foresight CAC's launch program provides us with access to knowledgeable Mentors and valuable opportunities for networking. Foresight has paired us with Mark Grist, our Executive in Residence.

Mark is currently President of BrightSide Solutions Inc., in Vancouver, BC. Mark is an entrepreneur with a track record of success in new ventures and energy markets. His experience base spans a variety of industries ranging from LNG and hydrogen to advanced imaging to gas processing technologies. He has experience developing relationships with strategic partners in Europe, North America and Asia and his corporate development experience includes execution of acquisitions and divestitures. Over his career Mark has held senior level business development and marketing positions with large enterprises such as FortisBC, Methanex and C-I-L and with a series of startups that includes BrightSide Technologies, QuestAir, SunCentral and R-Lux Innovations. Mark has an MBA from Queen’s University and a B. Comm from UBC and his specific strengths are in business strategy, leadership and early stage revenue generation.

Mark Grist and Foresight CAC bring invaluable tools and expertise to the development of our clean technology, and BGP looks forward to the transformation we will achieve together!
