BOREALIS IS ACCEPTING RESUMES FOR A DIGITAL MARKETING ROLE

Borealis Geothermal is perpetually accepting resumes of experienced business administrators, business or communications students, or recent graduates passionate about geothermal energy.

Title: Digital Marketing Intern
Location: This position is located in Calgary, Alberta 
Start Date: TBD
This position can be offered as a co-op, internship or full-time.

Borealis Geothermal is a geothermal exploration and development company focused on developing geothermal projects throughout Western and Northern Canada. With a flexible workplace and a variety of projects to work on, this is an ideal role to develop a career in renewable energy.

Job Description:

The Digital Marketer's primary duties include but are not limited to:
  • Manage and maintain multiple websites and domains.
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy.
  • Track and analyze marketing data across various platforms.
  • Advise and collaborate with management on ideas and solutions pertaining to marketing and technology.
  • Increase conversions on Borealis's website.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills:
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to work with teams.
  • A solid foundation in digital marketing.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to use a variety of online and social media tools.
  • Experience with website design and tools such as Weebly and GoDaddy is an asset.
  • Entrepreneurial experience would be an asset. 
  • Social media platform experience, like Hootsuite, is an asset.

Eligibility:
Due to the government youth-funding program that Borealis is using to support this role, the candidate must meet the following conditions:
  • Be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive), or be enrolled in post-secondary school, or a professional designation program (i.e. CPA)
  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or granted refugee status in Canada.
  • Be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial legislation and regulations.
  • Have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field.
  • Have one to three years of experience in a professional office environment (preferred).
  • To have experience running/owning a business is an asset.
